COHESKAT opens Post-UTME application for 2026/2027 ND admission

COHESKAT, the Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology, has opened its Post-UTME application for National Diploma admission in the 2026/2027 session. Applications run from Monday, 26 October to Sunday, 22 November 2026.

Who is eligible

The college says only candidates who chose COHESKAT as their first choice institution in the 2026 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and who meet the minimum entry requirements for the programme they want may apply. The minimum cut-off mark for the ND programmes is 120.

Candidates who scored 120 or above but did not pick COHESKAT as first choice still have a route in. According to the announcement, they can buy a JAMB Green Card, the change of institution document, and switch to COHESKAT to become eligible.

Key dates

  • Application opens: Monday, 26 October 2026
  • Application closes: Sunday, 22 November 2026
  • Screening and interview: Wednesday, 25 November and Thursday, 26 November 2026
  • List of successful candidates published: 30 November 2026
  • Registration for successful candidates: Monday, 1 December to Monday, 29 December 2026

The two campuses

The announcement names the Sani Zangon Daura School of Health Technology, Daura, and the Kankiya Iro School of Health Technology, Kankia.

Details left out of the notice

The announcement refers to "the above-listed ND programmes", but the list of programmes itself is not included in the text. The specific courses covered are therefore not stated.

The notice also does not give the application fee, the portal address, the payment procedure, or the O’Level requirements for individual programmes. Candidates should confirm these directly with the college before submitting an application or making any payment.

What candidates should do

Candidates who want a place should confirm the current application fee, portal and programme requirements with COHESKAT before they act, because the college’s announcement did not state them. Some dates circulating online differ from the ones in the announcement, so the college’s own notice is the one to follow.

The steps below come from the announcement and cover the full exercise, from picking the college in JAMB to registering after admission.
