This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made through FreshNote, including but not limited to digital products, subscriptions, premium content, study materials, past questions and answers, textbooks, Computer-Based Test (CBT) services, AI-powered educational tools, activation codes, study kits, and any other products or services offered through the FreshNote platform.
By making a purchase or using any paid FreshNote service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.
1. Refund Request Period
Any request for a refund must be submitted to FreshNote within twenty-four (24) hours from the time payment is successfully completed.
Refund requests submitted after the expiration of this period shall not be entertained, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
2. Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be approved only where FreshNote determines that:
a. The digital product or service purchased is unavailable and cannot be delivered;
b. The purchased service becomes inaccessible or ceases to function due solely to a technical fault attributable to FreshNote, and such fault cannot be remedied within a reasonable period; or
c. FreshNote is unable to provide the product or service substantially as described at the time of purchase.
Approval of all refund requests is subject to verification by FreshNote.
3. Circumstances in Which Refunds Will Not Be Granted
Refunds shall not be granted where:
a. The issue arises from the user's device, browser, internet connection, operating system, software configuration, power supply, or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of FreshNote;
b. The user fails to satisfy the minimum technical requirements necessary to access or use the service;
c. An activation code, login credential, access token, licence key, subscription, download link, or any other means of accessing the purchased digital product or service has been issued or delivered to the user. Such issuance shall constitute evidence that the user elected to activate the service after having had the opportunity to evaluate the platform through any available free trial or demonstration;
d. The user has successfully accessed, downloaded, viewed, copied, or otherwise used any part of the purchased digital product or service;
e. The request is based solely on a change of mind, mistaken purchase, personal preference, or lack of need for the product or service;
f. The inability to use the service results from incorrect information supplied by the user, including but not limited to an incorrect email address, telephone number, or other registration details; or
g. The user breaches the FreshNote Terms of Service or engages in fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized use of the platform.
4. Free Trial
Where FreshNote provides a free trial, demo version, preview, sample content, or any opportunity to evaluate a product or service before purchase, users are expected to satisfy themselves as to its suitability and compatibility before making payment.
By proceeding with payment and requesting activation or access, the user acknowledges that they are satisfied with the product or service and accept the limitations of this Policy.
5. Refund Processing
Where a refund request is approved, FreshNote shall process the refund within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
The processing period shall commence only after FreshNote has completed verification of the refund request.
Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, transaction charges, currency conversion fees, or other non-recoverable processing costs shall be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable.
6. Method of Refund
Approved refunds shall be made using the original payment method where practicable or through any other method determined by FreshNote to be appropriate.
7. Reservation of Rights
FreshNote reserves the right to investigate every refund request and may require additional information or evidence before making a determination.
FreshNote further reserves the right to refuse any refund request that is fraudulent, misleading, abusive, duplicated, or otherwise inconsistent with this Policy.
Nothing in this Policy shall limit FreshNote's right to suspend or terminate user accounts for misuse, attempted fraud, or violation of the Terms of Service.
8. Amendments
FreshNote reserves the right to amend, modify, or replace this Policy at any time. Any amendment shall take effect upon publication on the FreshNote platform and shall apply prospectively to purchases made thereafter.
