Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has opened a supplementary online admission screening for the 2026/2027 academic session. The window covers only three programmes in the university's College of Allied Health Sciences Education and closes on Friday, 30 October 2026.
The notice was posted on the university's own website around 8 October 2026 and picked up by education sites between 9 and 12 October 2026. It is described as a fully online exercise. No test date, screening venue or aptitude test has been announced.
The three programmes on offerThe supplementary round is limited to the College of Allied Health Sciences Education. For UTME entrants, the university lists the length of each programme as follows:
- B.CHS. Community Health Science — five years
- B.Sc. Public Health — four years
- B.Sc. Water Sanitation & Hygiene — four years
The notice names two groups of UTME candidates. The first are candidates who sat the 2026 UTME and scored 185 or above but did not secure admission at their first-choice institution. The second are candidates who did not choose LASUED at first but are willing to move their institution to LASUED on JAMB CAPS.
The UTME score floor is 185 for every one of the three programmes.
Entry requirementsFor Community Health Science and Public Health, the UTME subject combination is English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry and Physics.
For Water Sanitation & Hygiene, the notice lists those same subjects and adds Geography as an alternative alongside Physics. That is more than the usual four UTME papers, so candidates should confirm the correct combination with the university before registering.
All three programmes require five credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, obtained in no more than two sittings. The compulsory credits are English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
For Water Sanitation & Hygiene, the O'Level list names Physics rather than Geography, even though Geography appears in the UTME list for that programme. The notice itself is inconsistent on this point, and intending applicants should check with the university.
Direct Entry applicantsDirect Entry is accepted. Candidates need an OND, HND, NCE (Merit) or A-Level in a relevant Health or Science course, plus the O'Level requirements above.
Direct Entry applicants must also submit a copy of the online screening report together with a copy of their NCE, ND or Diploma result notification at the Admission Office for further processing.
The eligibility paragraph of the notice names only UTME candidates, even though the requirements section sets out Direct Entry terms. The notice does not separately explain how Direct Entry applicants qualify for this supplementary round, so those candidates should confirm their position with the university.
Deadline and how the screening worksAll registration and credential upload happens online. Every applicant must upload their credentials through the university's website as part of registration.
The application deadline is Friday, 30 October 2026.
The notice does not publish a screening fee. It also warns that paying money to individuals, into other accounts, or by any route other than the one shown on the university's website is at the applicant's own risk.
Background: the main screening exerciseThe supplementary round is separate from the main 2026/2027 screening, whose registration ran from 1 June to 5 July 2026. That earlier notice required candidates to be at least 16 years old by 1 October 2026 and required O'Level results to be on JAMB CAPS by 17 July 2026. It also accepted NBAIS and GCE O'Level credits, while the supplementary notice lists only SSCE, WAEC, NECO and NABTEB.
The supplementary notice does not say whether the age cut-off, the first-choice condition and the JAMB CAPS upload date from the main notice also apply to this round.
LASUED's main campus is at Oto/Ijanikin on the Lagos–Badagry Expressway, with a campus at Odo-Noforija, Epe, Lagos.
