ADUSTECH admission list appears on JAMB CAPS, reports say

Reports say ADUSTECH, Wudil has published a provisional admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session on JAMB CAPS. The university's own website, however, describes a list on its portal that makes candidates eligible to apply for the online Post-UTME screening, so the two accounts do not fully match.

According to several reports, the list of successful candidates has been uploaded to JAMB CAPS, and candidates are being directed to check there. Those told to look for their names are candidates who sat the 2026/2027 ADUSTECH admission screening exercise.

The reports state no cut-off mark, no screening score, no fee and no closing date. The announcement carries a publication date on or about 20 October 2026, but no official release date has been given.

What the university page says

The university's own page describes the list in a different way. It says names were obtained from JAMB CAPS and uploaded to the university portal, and that candidates whose names appear are eligible to apply for the online Post-UTME screening for 2026/2027.

That page says the list is updated frequently. Its sample entries, which show a name, the programme applied for, the state of origin and the date uploaded, are dated Thursday, 30 July 2026 — well before the October reports.

The page lists the programme applied for, such as Architecture, Computer Science or Mathematics, and the state of origin beside each name. The news reports do not mention either detail.

Why the accounts differ

News sites describe the list as a provisional admission offer on CAPS. The university describes a Post-UTME eligibility list on its own portal. Neither the university page nor any statement from JAMB confirms the CAPS admission offer itself.

One outlet reported on 14 September 2026 that a fresh JAMB CAPS list had been uploaded and that the online Post-UTME portal was open. That report came earlier than the October stories, and the October reports do not repeat it. No statement from JAMB or another regulator confirming the ADUSTECH 2026/2027 list was found.

What offered candidates are told to do

Candidates who are offered admission are told to accept or reject it by sending ACCEPT or REJECT by SMS to 55019 or 66019. The message must come from the phone number registered on their JAMB profile.

Candidates whose CAPS status reads "Admission Still in Progress" or "Not Admitted" are advised to keep checking, because the status can change.
