Akwa Poly releases supplementary ND admission list for 2026/2027

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic (Akwa Poly), Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has released a supplementary National Diploma (ND) admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates named on the list have been offered admission through JAMB's Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The notice was made public on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, and the list was shared as an online document attached to it. Documentation for admitted candidates has already begun in the departments.

Documentation at your department

Admitted candidates are to report to the Head of Department (HOD) of their course for documentation and to obtain authority to pay fees. The exercise has started, and no closing date has been announced.

No acceptance fee or tuition figure was stated in the notice. A candidate is cleared to pay only after seeing the HOD.

Documents to take along

ND I candidates are to present the following:

• Original JAMB result slip
• Original JAMB admission letter printed from JAMB CAPS
• Bio-data/application form printed from the Akwa Poly online registration portal
• O'Level result — WAEC, NECO or NABTEB
• Birth certificate or declaration of age
• Certificate of origin covering state and local government area
• Attestation letter from a clergy member, a senior civil servant or a village head
• Two passport-sized photographs and a file jacket

HND I candidates present their ND statement of result or certificate in place of the JAMB documents.

Warning on payments

Candidates are warned not to hand money to anyone, including relatives, and never to pay into any POS account number. Since no fee figure has been published with the notice, any payment demand should be checked with the department before money changes hands.

More lists expected

The polytechnic says more admission lists will be released soon. Candidates who are still waiting are asked to be patient.

Anyone with a question about the document list or the venue for documentation should ask at their department or the polytechnic's admissions office.

Check the supplementary list attached to the notice first. If your name is on it, print your JAMB admission letter from CAPS early, gather the full set of documents and take them to your HOD. Do not pay any money until the HOD clears you, and pay only through official channels.

5. Obtain your HOD's authority to pay fees before making any payment, and pay only through official channels — never to an individual or a POS account.
