Everything JUPEB candidates need to know about the 2026 examination schedule. 

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) has officially released the timetable for the 2026 examinations, and candidates can now plan their preparation with full confidence. The JUPEB Board confirmed that the 2026 JUPEB examination will commence on Monday, August 3, 2026, and conclude on Friday, August 14, 2026. 

The examinations are structured across two full weeks, each with a distinct focus.

A New CBT Format for MCQ Papers

The Multiple-Choice Questions section will now be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), meaning candidates will answer objective questions using computer systems at designated CBT centres. This move aligns with the growing use of digital assessment systems in Nigeria's educational sector.

Important Reminders for Candidates

  • Arrive at your centre at least 30 minutes before each paper
